Proposed conservation area for lower Adventdalen
The Governor of Svalbard is now issuing a consultation on the proposed conservation area for lower Adventdalen. The consultation deadline is 15 October 2023.

It is proposed that an area of 62 km² in the lower Adventdalen be protected as a nature reserve (see map above).
The proposal (see downloadable documents) is only available in Norwegian.
