Digital public meeting about the corona situation in Svalbard


Longyearbyen Community Council, the Governor of Svalbard and Longyearbyen hospital invite the people of Svalbard to a digital meeting about the corona situation in Svalbard Thursday 19 November at 17:00 on Facebook Live.

It will be broadcasted live from the meeting room Newtontoppen in Næringsbygget with representatives from Longyearbyen Community Council, the Governor and the hospital in the studio. The audience follows the broadcast from their own PC, mobile or tablet.

Questions can be asked in advance and during the meeting via:

• Messenger to the Longyearbyen Community Council’s Facebook page from Wednesday 18 November at 12:00 (noon)
• Email to folkemote@lokalstyre.no from Wednesday 18 November at 12:00 (noon)
• Directly in the comments’ box during the live stream

 
There will be no debate, but the inhabitants of Svalbard can ask specific questions in advance and during the digital public meeting.
The meeting will be in Norwegian, but the questions can also be asked in English.
