We have up to one month handling time
The amount of applications received by the Governor regarding permissions to
travel, to land with helicopter or to do scientific work in protected areas
has increased considerably during the last years. While we do our best to
answer all applications as soon as possible, the thorough consideration that
is needed to satisfy the high environmental standards, may cause prolonged
time for handling particular applications.
The Norwegian Act of management treatment § 11a says that in cases concerning
single decisions the treatment time will usually take up to one month, and
that applicant shall be notified if delay beyond this is expected. The
Governor will still try to conclude as soon as possible, but we recommend
applicants to estimate up to one month handling time.
